Federal Organizational Plea Agreements – Brandon Garrett and Jon Ashley

This library collection contains plea agreements and docket sheets in federal criminal cases in which an organization was convicted. It is intended to provide a resource for research concerning federal prosecution of organizations. The website was created by Professor Brandon Garrett (bgarrett@virginia.edu) and Jon Ashley (jaa6c@virginia.edu) and will be periodically updated. We welcome any inquiries or feedback, including questions, corrections or suggestions for additional material to be added to the collection. The agreements, as indicated below, may be displayed by name of entity, prosecuting office, and date. Where a plea agreement has been obtained, the name of the entity is hyperlinked to that agreement, while any docket sheet for the case is separately listed.

Additional information concerning organizational prosecution agreements is in a 2011 Virginia Law Review Article [http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=1871033].

A more detailed set of data concerning corporate convictions from 2001-2010 accompanies that law review article and can be found in this Excel spreadsheet (last updated 10/10/2011).
